We have a problem where our Plesk Virtuozzo server was not allowing enough connections to Courier-IMAP so we increased the connection allowances in /etc/courier-imap/imapd configuration file by changing these lines MAXDAEMONS from 40 to 100 and MAXPERIP from 4 to 80. then we restarted the container to allow the new settings to take effect. after that we could not assess web-mail or mail via Thunderbird. Ran a telnet localhost check on port 110 Pop3 that seams fine and ran another one on IMAP port 143 and I get a connection refused. tried reversing the settings but no change. not quite sure what is wrong and I just don't have the time to fix it myself. Need a quick fix on this.

The project consists of migrating an existing, fully functional installation of Drupal / CiviCRM from a virtual server hosting environment under Virtuozzo/Plesk, over the a cloud-based virtual server. The server software is CentOS5, migrating to CentOS6. Apache 2.2.3 is the web platform. MySQL5 and PHP5 are in place on both systems. A working migration tool is available to migrate the existing website on a wholesale basis, and a test migration has been completed. Drupal version is 6.25 and does not need to be upgraded. CiviCRM is version 3.2 and needs to be upgraded to 4.1.1. One custom report template must be preserved, along with existing configuration.

We have a SAAS based software application where each user is given a separate sub-domain on registration. The application is hosted on Hostgator VPS and uses Virtuozzo and PLESK Control Panel. We need a script for creation of these sub-domains. Hence when a new user comes for registration, we will check for availability of the sub-domain and if does not exist it will call the script and create the sub domain in HostGator and confirm the same. Our app is in JAVA so prefer this to be a independent Java code that will do the needful. We have Tomcat running and can give a test account for the same. Hi My business website had been attacked by a hacker, the system is hosted on (ve) server and the hacker has replaced the files with hacked versions. At the moment, i can not connect to the server as the hosting company shut down the (ve) and disabled the offline management and this will disable root access to the Virtuozzo panel. What i need is: . Re-install the VPS for the (ve). . Copy the backup which will be placed within one of the files on the (ve). That's it. I finally got the OS Template working with CentOS 5, so you can create another container on demand. And the container seems to work.
