I need a chatroom system with the following features: - websockets technology - dynamically creation of new chatrooms with unique (internal) identifiers - adding a user to a certain chatroom, i.E. user ABC is put into chatroom DEF - system running on a server (Debian 10 with nginx on 16 core AMD) must be able to run thousands of chatrooms with ten thousands of active users The only point I was not able to realize by myself is the last one. A websockets chatroom system, managed with php takes too much cpu usage. With every additional user the cpu usage increases by 0.3%.
