Contest Brief
Hi,
I'm looking for a dedicated writer for our blog so I'm using this contest as a way to find one.
The person writing needs to have few years of corporate working experience as these blogs posts are aimed at c-suite level people in enterprise and we need to understand exactly how they think, what they like to read and how to get them interested.
Here's this specific brief instructions:
Client: Haystack Digital Business Cards (https://thehaystackapp.com/)
General Topic: The things you need to take into account when rebranding
Stage: Awareness (education)
Target Audience: Marketing managers, communication managers, CMOs
Executive Summary: When going into a rebranding process there are the obvious things like changing your logo/colors/language - but what are some of the implications you need to be aware of when doing this? (shen planning for a rebranding you should read this)
Keywords: rebranding, marketing tips, pitfalls, implications, digital, paper, business cards, brand identity
CTA: Consider digital solutions while in rebranding process
Post Outline:
When approaching rebranding there a lot of best practices out there with regards to how to do it, when, in what stages etc.
There are also a lot of checklists of things you should think of when applying the new brand identity (website change, marketing & sales collaterals, social networks, signage etc)
But the truth is that your asset list is probably bigger and more detailed than these generic headlines and categories and some of the things on your list may cost a lot more than you think.
It doesn’t mean you don’t have to do it, it just means you need to be very organised and keep an inventory list of everything that carries your brand logo/tagline/colors etc and make sure you calculate their costs into your rebranding plan
Here are some of the things that you should be aware of:
Business cards + email signatures - the cost of printing new ones can be a lot bigger than you may imagine, move to digital cards to make the move easier, quicker and much cheaper
Email marketing / system notifications
Name badges
Stationery, from letterheads to folders and cover sheets
Signage
Internal documents such as forms, contracts and applications
Word and PowerPoint templates
-packaging update according to new branding
- Legal compliance issues to avoid deception (same beloved taste, just a different package for example)
-Cross organisation training - for all departments to be aware of the changes and how to use the new logo on different materials. The most important team for this (other than marketing obviously) is your customer service! They should be able to answer all the question that customers are going to rais, and there will be lots of them... use this as an opportunity to explain how much better you are now.
