Contest Brief

Hey, you! You awesome designer!!! We have a great, fun, GUARANTEED contest you'll want to enter! Read on to check the details:

We are a marine company based in Florida, and well, we already have a logo... We're just not happy with it. We kinda like the idea behind it, but are ready for something fresh. We need an AWESOME, completely NEW, vector logo designed - it must delivered as an .AI file.

As we said, we want a completely NEW logo - not just a re-design. In the logo we want two elements that work standalone, or together: an "icon" or "avatar" - and a text only version.

ICON/AVATAR
The icon should be a combination of a "B" and a "1" - we really don't like the current version (attached) where the B doesn't connect and the 1 looks odd. We'd prefer this portion of the logo to be Sans Serif.

TEXT ONLY
The text should spell out "Berth One International" and should be in a Serif font. We'd like to know the font (to continue our branding efforts) and prefer this version to come from a font family with multiple weights if possible. We find Google Fonts to be a great resource to find these.

The text-only version should look right in place next to the avatar/icon, not weird...

We have a selection of four colors we'd like you to use (or use as a basis) - below are the Hex codes in order of preference.

To sum up the project, we need a logo designed in Illustrator, with two elements, using any of the PRIMARY COLORS, or any combination of those colors:
ICON - B1 (Sans-Serif)
TEXT - Berth One International (Serif)
