Contest Brief

PLEASE READ MY MESSAGE IN ITS ENTIRETY, as I am looking for the right artist to fulfill this and possibly create a long-term working relationship for future jobs. IF my description doesn't resonate or inspire you, PLEASE DO NOT BID or respond. I'm looking for original t-shirt designs (for commercial use), using motivational quotes from the attached list. My brand's goal is to provide athletes with apparel that places their mission statement boldly on the shirts, and often serves as motivation for others. I believe everyone fights their own battles internally; society is very quick to judge without understanding. Many athletes fight their demons through exercise, but everyone handles those demons differently, and it is comforting/motivating to see others who fight them too. Put simply: we are all on our own journey; embrace it and celebrate it, and screw those who don't understand it. Anyway, that should give you some insight as to my brand and company mission statement. My website is www.cerebral-athlete.com if you'd like to see my current shirts. Right now my shirts are only text based, as I feel text can be compelling on its own, but I wish to expand on the concept with maybe some graphics. The message should still be the most important part of the design. I want the shirts to have an edge to them to appeal to serious athletes, as my background most closely aligns with military, police, and other tactical athletes. But, also attract those CrossFitters and badass soccer moms. In terms of thoughts I have, it can take inspiration from American Traditional Tattoos (aka: Norman Collins "Sailor Jerry"), nautical or surf themes, military nose art, or even contemporary. Please start with one or two designs from the attached list of sayings. If they look good, we can discuss making others. My company utilizes Printful for printing and shipping, so designs should be in a PNG format at a preferred min. of 300 dpi resolution. Printful's template is 12x16, so the design cannot go beyond that. Please let me know if this interests you or if you have any questions.
