Contest Brief

The Sacramento Fire Department and Community Foundation is a 501c(3) program with the mission of promoting, supporting, and improving the Sacramento Fire Department as well as fire and life safety in the Sacramento community. Currently the SFDCF is seeking to raise funds to support the Sacramento Fire Community Emergency Response Team - a group of civilians trained by the Sacramento Fire Department in disaster response (search and rescue, disaster medical operations, fire and utility controls, etc.).

The SFDCF is seeking to have their logo redesigned in time for the upcoming 2018 Scott Fire Fighter Combat Challenge (that SFDCF is helping coordinate).

Our current logo colors may be preserved, and if possible we would like to integrate the following design elements into a logo: fire helmet and/or maltese cross, the Sacramento skyline (stylized) or the CA Capitol Dome (stylized), and some sort of symbol for community. Dual-symbol logos are also welcome.

thanks for your rating on my entry sir.
I tried to create a modern and conceptual logo for you.
If you look on my logo, you can see that i create 4 quadrants on the logo, each quadrant carry a symbol
first one is community .
2nd one is Sacramento city symbol .
3rd quadrant contain the symbol of rescue team.
and the last one is for fire burn.

its conceptual because a community creates a city .and when a city become established ,then they need a rescue team. so that the rescue team can help others in danger.

I hope you will like my idea and concept.

A Note...the example image we provided of "dual image" hand and flame is NOT OUR LOGO, we cannot accept any logos that contain that image. That image was intended to show an example of a dual image logo (two images together making a third image).
