Contest Brief

I'm looking to update my app icon and UI. The app is called Slideshow Magic. I have attached the original images. Please come up with a new icon and UI screens. It does not have to be purple. I want the design to be cleaner, simpler, and more modern and less like a cartoon. Please note that it does NOT have to include a hat. That was just one idea. Feel free to be creative.

Please DO NOT impose the icon on business cards or office doors. I just want to see the icon. Please make it 1024 x 1024 and the UI screens 1242 x 2208. I will need the final results to be delivered in .psd format with all layers able to be edited.
