Redesigning a meat chopper

Contest Brief
(Please refer to the attachments.) The cutting blades in a standard meat chopper are interconnected through a core. This configuration would mean the blades have tight corner spaces that tend to gather minced meat resulting in the minced meat sticking to the chopper. A chopper with this design has a cutting pattern in the shape of a star. My new meat chopper removes this core eliminating the tight corner spaces so minced meat will have less tendency of sticking to the chopper. By using 3 or 4 pairs of long and short blades positioned opposite to each other, it can be seen that the cutting pattern of the new chopper can form two different "star-burst" shapes as shown.
The top of the new chopper should be fairly wide as the user will palm and press down on its top when using it in a stamping action rather than using a stabbing action as in the standard chopper.
This contest is for a designer to come up with the most attractive, functional, and ergonomic meat chopper design that can be easily manufactured. All the requirements of the new chopper are as listed, and the contestant is free to design all other details not mentioned.
