Makeover - House / Facade with Swimming Pool & Garden

Contest Brief

I have provided photos of the exterior, facade, swimming pool and garden of a house built in around 1970.

I would like to modernize this in a contemporary minimalist style with a limited budget, so NO structural modifications will be required at this stage

Preferably provide visual makeover / improvement / design ideas which can me implemented using not much more than a new balcony rails, stair rails, tint, stain paint, cladding, decking, plants, lighting etc.

It is likely at the next stage of developing this house that the external stairway to the south face of the house will be removed or altered so you may wish to consider this also.

I do not have a floor plan or overhead pictures, so your visuals do not have to be to exactly to scale, and do not have to be a perfect copy of the house itself.

The sooner you provide your visuals I can work with you to perfect your work, if you leave your entry late I may not have time to assist you.

The first 11 photos are of the original building we intend to reform

The final 12 photos are of other buildings which contain elements of design ideas and colours which I like.

    I can see iron grills on all windows and doors. Its not very common.. Is there real security issues, and you must have such grills on windows, for this new renovated design?
