Logo work - freshen and change colors

Contest Brief

I am buying a company with the logo attached. This is the only format of the logo that I have.

want to freshen-up the logo, make it a bit more modern without completely changing it and losing connection with the old style and branding. I don't want to make any MAJOR changes. I want to eliminate the burnt orange color and focus more on red or maroon, black, white, and grey colors.

Soil Solutions does chemical injection soil stabilization on commercial construction projects. We work at the very beginning of the earthwork portion of the construction project. A few pictures of us at work are attached.

The company slogan is "Texas Leader in Potassium Injection Soil Stabilization Since 1984". Perhaps the logo could mention "Since 1984" or something like that.

    Hi,
    You have a very intresting business and I belive you need to have a strong logo design to back that up. upon looking at the example you provided it is very basic and outdated. I would be looking to restructure the design and make it more personal to the work you produce.
    I would also concider making changes to the colour that you sugested, Red can be attached to emotions of anger, danger and exitment. I would potentally look either a grayscale which shows bold and stenght or possably a green to show positivity, nature and succsess. However we can discuss this together down the line.

      Definitely red, black, gray, and white need to be the colors. No green. It doesn’t have to be a lot of red and I am fine with grayscale.
