Contest Brief

We have a holiday home in the Lake District, United Kingdom. It's an area of outstanding beauty which attracts many families and outdoor groups. We recently purchased the property and have started the renovation process of turning it into something luxurious yet comfortable. As part of this process we'd like to develop a brand for the house which can be used on correspondence, table mats, signage and other small items around the property. The property has a distinct name 'Brigg House' and can be viewed on google by searching for Brigg House, Torver, Coniston. The logo should include the property name and could also reinforce it's location in the Lake District or Coniston which is the next village and very well known.

From the garden we also have views of the Old Man of Coniston which is a famous local mountain. This could possibly be used as part of the logo design. The image below HouseImage3 shows the property with the Old Man of Coniston hill to the left hand side. I've included an image 'Coniston Old Man' which was drawn by a famous walker/artist called Wainwright. This style might provide some inspiration for the logo.

I've also attached some pictures showing some rooms inside the house so you can get a feel for the style and colour palettes used inside.
