Contest Brief

I need to design a logo for a website (www.masdar.sa).

Masdar (مصدر) in Arabic means "Source".

The website is an Arabic site about Open Source Software, that users can search for open source software alternatives as opposed to closed-source software. A similar website is www.alternativeto.net
- The logo should be in Arabic
- The logo should represent the Open Source software.
- The logo should contain the word مصدر in Arabic
- The logo can just be the Word "مصدر" or the Word plus a symbol/image that presents software (or Open Source Software).
- The site will present a semi-government entity, so it should be semi-formal (no cartoon).

    Glad to see some great participations .. Just a reminder:

    1. Words should be in Arabic مصدر , unless it is a symbol or an image then its ok
    2. It is ok if you want to include the link (www.masdar.gov.sa) ...
    3. Should indicate and has a meaning for "Open Source" or "Open Source Software".
    4. If the logo is only a word, then it has to be in Arabic. If the logo is an Image/symbol/graphics, then you can use your imagination :-)
