Contest Brief

I seek a unique and personalized logo for my law practice that reflects who I am and thus, my practice.

(No common stock photo with my name typed in, please. Copyright violations are real.)

My name is Christopher F. Schafer, the law practice name is C. F. Schaefer Law. Schaefer means "Sheppard" in German. Be that the dog or human, I don't know :-) That's just background information, don't feel compelled to use it unless you think it works for the logo. Also, I find a beauty in simplicity. As I'm sure you're aware, it's easy to make something complex, the difficulty is in making it simple. I will seek business cards and a website afterwards.

I want to be a pillar of my community: Reliable and trustworthy but welcoming and uplifting. I also love creative and innovative solutions. I believe I can mediate/negotiate a reasonable solution for reasonable people, business is business. But I won't tolerate cheats or those who seek to cause harm, and I will fight with great resolution when confronted with such a person.

I am a community college professor and a lawyer. I am starting my law practice to help my community grow. I specialize in small business development and intellectual property (Mainly trademarks, but I am studying for the patent bar).

Prior to law school I worked offshore as an engineer, and have a blue color mentality with the ability to polish up nicely for a court room (I'll cuss in class because it allows my students to relate/connect and, frankly, I tried to stop with utter failures).

I am passionate about good people trying to succeed and want to aid their success. With so much anger and noise in the world, I want to encourage my community to realize the value it
as within itself.

      its better to veify the payment sir.. ive experienced this situation before.. when my client did not fully veirfy his payment source , when he is releasing the contest prize to me.. the FREELANCER SYSTEM did not allow him to release the money to me. because the payment source's profile is not yet verified.. not jsut the payment , you should complete your profile first..

      I am reviewing the entries now. It's quite overwhelming. Unfortunately, I did not care for those two entries. I like the idea of a sheppard silhouette, but the logo felt too much like a security guard company instead of a lawfirm.
