Contest Brief

Hi all, thanks for checking out this contest. I am looking for a full cover (front, back, spine) to the specifications set in the attached document below. It must be a print ready PDF to the exact specifications or else Amazon will not accept it.

I have attached some samples for you to get the juices flowing but I am open to your creativity.

The Title is: The Keening
Author Name is: European P. Douglas

The story is about a family in rural Ireland being haunted by the Banshee (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banshee) In the story the Banshee will be more spectral than physical.

The atmosphere should be foreboding and scary.

I will attach a back cover blurb in the next day or so but for now, you can use any text of 150-200 words as a placeholder to show what it might look like. ( I will put a message on the contest when I have uploaded the proper text)

If you have any questions please put them in the comments section and I will get back to you. Please do not message things like 'Check out Entry #3 etc.

If you spot someone using images that you think are copyrighted please let me know also. I will be checking in a few times a day but the freelancer app is not very good for contests and I will have to view on my computer.

    Hello Rory, thank you for the cover template. This project sounds exciting and I'd really want to give it a try, I love projects like this!
    Though 50$ is too low for a contest, please put yourself in the shoes of us.
    Please, consider doubling the prize, if you're looking for a quality work.

      Hi Sasa, I understand what you are saying (I am a freelancer myself) but I don't have more than €50 to offer for this right now. If you check back on my history you will see that I have offered more in the past for these competitions when I had the money to spare.
