CREATE ASTRODOG

The goal of this challenge is to represent the accessories being sold on a small website as ones that will stay with them for life. They are not disposable, but will be treasured and faithful - like beloved dog who is a friend.

We need:

A picture of Astrodog with his owner. His owner is using a Telescope (Suggest a refractor or a reflector - must be recognisable).
Perhaps you can not see the face of the owner, or most of the telescope - e.g. owner has his back to you, looking into telescope (focus needs to be on Astrodog).
Astrodog is looking at his owner faithfully.

Graphic Requirements:
• Only a color version is required.
• "Hand drawn Cartoon Style" is acceptable. Detail level about that of Snoopy - But don't use Snoopy.
• Not too small
• Not too many colors - up to four, or even 2 will do (red is needed). White background.
• No gradients or special effects. Nice and plain.
• Must be your own work

Judging Criteria:
• Requirements: Does your submission meet the requirements as stated?
• Quality: Does your submission look simple, professional and neat?
• Concept: Will it create trust and comfort?

Please do not draw a "bubble" around Astrodog's head.
Sketches for ideas are fine initally. Feedback will be provided for every entry that requests it.

Try to avoid "hard endings" in the picture - where you feel the picture is cropped. You can use colour wipes/brushes to provide endings that will sit naturally.

General Feedback - Use an Astronomical Telescope, like the Skywatcher 120, or the one next to it. http://www.astrotest.it/old/telescopi/sky_watcher120ED/skywatcher1201.jpg If you use stars, draw 10 stars - https://www.dropbox.com/s/4oo9js7j46fi5e4/orionsouth.jpg?dl=0 - perspective and orientation is important use the right colours red and blue, purple as per the picture. You can use those colors again if you like. Astrodog is on the same ground level as his owner. Astrodog needs to be looking at his owner, not us.
