Contest Brief

Design 2 similar logos for 2 new home communities. Both communities are in the same area, so logos need to be compatable. First logo is for communit called "The Meadows" and the second is for "The Groves". Meadows logo should evoke image of a meadow, with mountains in background. We don't want it too cartoon looking. Want something somewhat realistic or easily recognizable as what it is...Meadow and Groves. Examples of previuos logos attached.

      this is such nonsense Isti A. people use stock images all the time in their logos. why don't you spend more time designing a cool logo and less time trying to get other people's designs rejected. your design isn't very interesting and that is the most important thing. if someone can use a stock image creatively to make a better logo it makes no difference at all unless the person is trying to TRADEMARK it, and let's be honest, why would anyone be trying to trademark a logo of a community?? no reason. they wouldn't. make better designs instead of worrying about what other people are doing. you aren't winning because of your designs, not because other people use stock images.

      sadly though on Freelancer.com, the CH chose most often logos who have blatantly used stock images / vectors / vectorized images. On the other design sites, it is explicitly a violation to use these above mentioned stocks.
