Design my shopfront windows with vinyl display

Contest Brief

I have an afro-caribbean cosmetic store, but I would like to redesign my entire store front so that it isn't necessarily seen as a BLACK persons shop, but a Beauty supply store for all. I want people to walk past my store, and say "thats a beauty shop!" not "thats the african shop". The images must be clear, concise and inviting. There are no design limitations, so long as it looks beautiful. I have a website called BeautyBAE that I'd also like to advertise on it. The abreviation is Beauty, Before Anyone Else. All windows should have a continous theme throughout, and should "join" up together. The SHOP name is Supergrows Cosmetics.

The dimensions of the windows and doors (1) are:

Left hand side: 1195x2250; 2370x2250; 1195x2250
Middle store: 1245x2020; 2445x2020
Right hand side: 2005x2020; 850 x 1970 - (door) 2005x2020

ARTWORK TO BE IN PDF FORMAT
All Artwork should be in HIGH RESOLUTION to allow for full wall height printing.


If you can not find images in high resolution, I suggest you omit them and choose something else.

    Hello CH, please be so kind to answer these 2 questions:

    1) There are 2 doors on your images. Which one is the main entrance?
    2) Left hand side of the shop has higher height (225) than 2 others (202)?

      Hi,

      There are two doors. One is permanently locked. The other that is open in the photos, is the only door we actually use.

      In other words, the middle shop, is the door that people enter and exit from.

      Question 2; that is correct. It has a higher height.

      The shops were converted into ONE shop, but originally they were three separate shops.

      No, not necessary at all, however I would ideally like people to know we NOW sell Wella Koleston hair colour, and L'Oreal Majirel. I have invested £6-7,000 in stock! Need to get people to buy it! Although no mention of it won't hurt your chances of winning if I still like the design.

      Hi Paula. That’s a good question. I would say approximately 6cms between each window is the frame width, however where there is a wall between each SHOP (it’s 3 shops into 1) the wall is approx 40 cm in width.

    Please ensure the brief is read and understood properly. I am not looking for a logo design.

    I am looking for a continuous theme on my windows, to be printed in vinyl.

    I am looking for individuality and a eye-catching design. Something that if you walk past, you will be excited to go inside and see all the beautiful makeup and hair products/cosmetics we sell.

    We sell Wigs, Hair extensions, professional hair colour, hair cutting machines (Wahl/Andis) make up and everything to do with cosmetics!

      I apologise if that is the case. My design brief should be read clearly before you even begin designing anything. It clearly states my requirements. The website automatically designates "tags" relating to the work.
