Contest Brief

I have created an information guide on 7 Traits of Leadership. I've made the raw content, and now I'm looking for a designer to make the documents visually attractive and creative. I would like the document to include graphic design throughout the guide. This guide will be roughly 15 pages, so I would like the internal pages to have images/designs, relevant to the particular topic, throughout the document, so it's not just big slabs of text. There are 7 Traits, so one image to represent each Trait is what I'm looking for.

One way of doing this would be to have a relevant image as a "mini front cover" before each topic of text. I have uploaded a file as an example. Please note, the provided example is NOT my work, so should not be copied. I love the cartoon design (as attached) of these mini pages inside the document, so that could be a great design submission for the competition.

For this product, I would like the main front cover to have an image that represents leadership, and the title to read:

"7 Traits of Influential Leaders

How to instantly become a great leader and change your life"

I am looking for a design with creativity, but simple and clean images/backgrounds etc. This is a professional document for senior candidates in the workplace, so professionalism throughout the document is essential. The document should not be overcrowded or "too busy" with lots of extra words or images, as the content already has a lot of words.

The 7 traits of great leaders (headings for each topic) are:
- influencing others
- taking responsibility
- looking after their team
- control over their emotions
- leading by example
- seeing the bigger picture
- having great passion

Phrases/images/backgrounds around these headings/topics will be most suitable.

Once I have selected the right design, I will most likely want that designer to complete my e-covers/e-books, for my additional suite of products to keep the design consistent - this means the freelancer will likely have a lot of work through me.

      The layout is ok - I prefer the heading and subheading at the top. I think the images you have used in the first two submissions resonate with a leader the most, this is the best aspect of your submissions so far

      Hi Daniella, I don't have specific images or photos in mind, as I would really like to see your creative input in the project. However the 7 traits of great leaders (headings for each topic) are:
