Contest Brief

Hi all,

I need a 3D simple design of a case and stand for my small beta electronic product. I have tried with the ready-made universal plastic case but the result wasn't good. The product is a basic people counter which can be placed on door frames / wall-mounted / can also be connected with a stand. I'm thinking the case to be ABS plastic, with an optional stand from steel/aluminium.

Few notes:
1. Detailed design/result can be done after the awarding. I need a concept first for the contest.
2. The product has some modular boards, a small screen, and 2 infrared sensors that have to be horizontally inline / side by side.
3. Power input needs to be beneath the case (female adaptor connector).
4. One side has 2 holes for infrared sensors.
5. The case can be joined/connected with the stand or wall-mounted at own.
6. Screen size is around 2.4 to 2.8 inch. Needs to be visible to people.
7. I will give the exact component size / measurements once the winner awarded.
8. No rating until moments before awarding. So each can have their unique ideas / not copying from others.

    The winning entry is clearly out of proportion...contest holder should have said that he is not serious rather than wasting our time. The winner helself confessed in her message that 'her work is not full' (infact it is senseless..as infrared is clearly colliding with lcd screen...ans size is absolutely not in proportion)....so much for our hardwork and spirit of contest

    MOST OF THE ENTRIES HAVE CONSIDERED "THE CIRCUIT SIZE' wrongly , In-fact the placement of IR unit & mounting fasteners clearly collides with screen positioning . In some cases contestant have bothered more about Stand than the Gadget. In few the Injection moulding tooling is more or impossible. Please note. Thank you
