Design a Website Mockup for BestwillCorp.com

  • Status: Closed
  • Prize: $220
  • Entries Received: 7
  • Winner: jituchoudhary

Contest Brief

Existing website needs to be completely overhauled. New design does NOT need to resemble old design at all. The structure, placement, design, etc is all up to you. Be creative and use your imagination.

*** WE ARE LOOKING FOR ORIGINAL WORK & DESIGNS ... NOT TEMPLATES! ***

------------------------------------------

WEBSITE GOALS:

1) To ATTRACT and INTEREST potential customers to stay on our website (especially from search engines or ads).

2) To INFORM potential customers about our manufacturing capabilities and other sevices & benefits.

3) To make potential customers feel EXCITED (HAPPY) that they found the PERFECT company to "make their dreams (products) come true".

4) To make it EASY (SIMPLE) for potential customers to contact us to submit a request for a quotation (i.e. contact information easily found, contact form, etc).

------------------------------------------

REQUIREMENTS:

* Current website is one long page... NEW DESIGN MUST HAVE SEPARATE PAGES!

* Menu items MUST include at least: Home, Products, Services, Contact Us... or similar subdivisions.

* Home page MUST contain the following phrases:

" Certified Member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council "

" Certified Member of the Southern California Minority Business Development Council "

" Certified Member of The Supplier Clearinghouse "

* Bestwill logo MUST be used and cannot be changed or re-designed (see attached). Background color behind the actual logo can be changed.

* Static HTML/CSS (preferably editable in a WYSIWYG editor).

* Website must be RESPONSIVE.

------------------------------------------

TIPS:

* Company brochure has been uploaded for your reference (see attachment). Much of website content will come from the brochure (with some new additions and modifications done to the final website). WEBSITE DOES NOT HAVE TO LOOK LIKE BROCHURE.

* Bestwill company colors are NAVY BLUE and GOLDENROD and is preferred to be used somewhere. You can find these colors on the existing website (www.bestwillcorp.com) and PDF brochure (see attachment).

* Bestwill brochure and business cards use a "modern" type font such as: VERDANA, TAHOMA, ARIAL, CALIBRI, etc. Use of similar fonts is preferred, but not required (as long as your font selection looks good with your website design and is easily readable).

* You can choose to use any images that are currently on the website, zip files (see URL's below), or brochure (see attachment)... or you may use images you find elsewhere.

------------------------------------------

JUDGING CRITERIA:

An important judging criteria for us is that in THREE (3) SECONDS, the potential customer should:

1) Be attracted and interested in the website enough to want to stay longer (i.e. modern & refreshing web design, comfortable & polished layout, visually appealing color scheme, attention is focused on important areas, etc).

2) Be able to have a very basic understanding/feeling about what Bestwill Corporation does and specializes in from quickly scanning the HOME PAGE (i.e. photos & visual graphics, bullet points, strategically located section headings, etc).

3) Decide they want to learn more about what Bestwill Corporation can do for them.

HINTS: Please do NOT use our company building as the primary (main) photo on the HOME PAGE (it doesn't tell the potential customer anything). Also avoid putting long paragraphs or lists on the HOME PAGE (save that for linked web pages).

------------------------------------------

*** Winner must turn over all HTML/CSS and any designs done in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc at the end of the contest. ***
