RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
------------------------------------------------------------
No Serif Fonts (e.g Times New Roman)
No "SPACE" fonts
No crazy whacky fonts or Kids fonts
Icons or any graphics work MUST have something to do with the subject of the logo
Keep your logo simple, elegant, clean, uncomplex, neat and un-cluttered.
Don't "try too hard" - just keep it smart
A small, thought through icon and a nice font wins much more than trying to be too clever
No Fades, no Shades, no gradients in the font. Keep the letter colours solid. No Opacity on anything !
TIP: You're better off submitting less designs and submitting fewer that are polished and through through. Large numbers of bad designs is a BAD thing.
------------------------------------------------------------
MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS OF THE "SAME" IDEA
------------------------------------------------------------
Please please please submit 1 idea per submission. Submitting the same idea in different layouts and environments (e.g. on headed paper... on a wall.. on a business card) will just clog up the process. I have been in design for 20years. Just a pure logo on white background is fine. I can tell if it will work on different things.
If you really feel you must add the logo in multiple environments, then please read up on how you can add multiple graphics to the same submission. It will definitely make a difference !

THE BRIEF
------------------------------------------------------------
The client is a startup.
It is for a niche web app that is, most likely, going to be utilised online as a website and on iPads
The app name (i.e. the logo name) is called
Design Thinking Collaborator
Here are some resources that explain what Design Thinking is:

WHAT DO WE NEED
------------------------------------------------------------
We need a logo for Design Thinking Collaborator
As you can see, there tends to be the 5 hexagons to represent the 5 stages of Design thinking. We're happy for these to be alluded to - - but not copied.
The "Design Thinking Collaborator" app is likely to be used by Design Thinking Professionals who go into organisations and businesses to help run design thinking workshops. The Design Thinking Collaborator app turns the experience from Sticky Notepads and Sharpie Pens to being a big-screen Digital experience. The app takes the participants through the stages of the Design Thinking Process and helps get the most out of the session.
So, the app is not to replace the Facilitator (i.e. the person helping with the design thinking session) but to be a tool to help them do it more effectively and ensure that all the thoughts, ideas etc are captured fully.

DELIVERABLES
------------------------------------------------------------
At the end of the project, we will require the logo and font (or logo converted to curves/outlines) and full set of files (e.g. Adobe Illustrator) so we can ensure we use the logo correctly with the right colours etc etc. We expect that it will be in CMYK format.
