Contest Brief

I need the logo for a new darts team called "Birds of prey" or "Birdsofprey".
The words must be written either on a single line or on three lines.
Examples :

BIRDS
OF
PREY
The logo must be compact, aggressive and usable on different media and situations, from printing to patches and stickers.
So avoid an artwork and a writing that are separate, avoid thin elements that stick out of the borders (it will be hard to have them in stickers or patches). Think of all the sports team logos in NFL, NBA, etc...
Flat colours are mandatory. Please also show a grayscale version of the logo.
If possible, use some red and white (eventually together with other colours). This last requirement is not mandatory.
The logo must contain the name of the the team and a design depicting a typical bird of prey (eagle, falcon, ect). It can be the whole animal or just part of it (ie head + talons).
It can also include one or more darts (up to 3) and/or a dartboard or part of it.
It can also contain the *"darts team" phrase.
The letters and the animal design must create a coherent image, that is perceived as a "whole". There must not be separate elements and it must be surrounded with a border to emphasize the logo over any kind of background. This also means that the log must have its own background (no hollow or transparent areas). It can also be created within a badge, although we prefer a more "open" design.
It must transmit energy, be somehow intriguing and scary for the opponents. You have to create a graphic image of a bird of prey that can be perceived as a mascotte or totem animal for the team.

The logo must be easily readable and immediately recognizable. Avoid super fine details that could work only on printing or on big sizes. This logo must be used also on gadgets of various kind.
The logo must be a unique and original and not created using some cheap online service. If we wanted that, we would have done it ourselves. Check examples below.

Please do not send multiple entries with the same logo in different applications. Just create one entry and all the images in it.
