Contest Brief

Hi everyone,

I need a 3D exploded view or a cutaway view of a very simple product I’m working on. I’d like you to quote me on both options separately and combined. If you’re able to deliver this in an animated form, that would be terrific.

Check the attached file for further reference and page me asap. I need you to start with it right away.

Employer Feedback

“This guy thick’ s al the boxes. Not a man of many words (English is not his native tongue) but it seems he's one of those guys, you only tell half the story and he intuitively knows what you expect from him. He did a terrific job and I gladly would work with him on a next project. Well done Kasun! ”

    Dear contestants,

It's time for us to call out the winning entry for this first job in a line of further designs needed.

Some are good, some are better and there are two parties who are the best. One of them is going to be the one who will join our team. This does not mean we are not happy with the other entries! We greatly appreciate the work done and time invested and it feels wrong not being able to offer at least some form of gratitude. However, this system does not allow such a move.

So, I can only say 'thanks' and keep a sharp look out for following entries from us. There could be a situation in which you will be chosen as the next designer to complete our team.

    Thanks again!

    7. The side with the cooling holes in it, should therefore have the 6 mil extension “legs” (dunno how to call them) and the screws are entering the CamBox from the front (lens-side), go through the corners of the box and with it, it also clamps the two parts of the box together.
    8. All the mentioned ports are on the short side of the box.
    9. The on/off switch is on the (long) side. Let us put it the same height as the lens.
    10. Use the ESP32-EYE board that I included in the file. Also use the lens. No problem to let it stick out a bit for clarification.
    11. Use the antenna with a small thread, instead of just a hole.

As you see, nothing really new here, just a bit of further explanation for those who need an extra hand.
I like you all to know that I greatly appreciate your work! Be aware that this is only part of a bigger job in which I will publish further needed elements to be designed. It is part of a large crowdfunding campaign that hopefully will raise quite some money. You can be part of that. Watch further jobs and contests here on Freelancer
    Thank you all for now!

    1. It is a box like in a cigarette box. Rectangular with dimension as indicated in the job description. Please note that the height should be reduced to 21 millimeters, as opposed to the 25 mil as I described. Not a big deal.
    2. The camera lens is located on the front as most of you have it now correctly done.
    3. The lens-side is actually facing down to an object. Hence, the cooling holes side is the top-side.
    4. The box should be in two parts as it should be accessible. Meaning, two parts whereby there is an overlap of about 4-5 mil.
    5. As the lens is facing down, the top (cooling holes) part of the box is overlapping the downward facing (lens) part in order to prevent water getting into the lower part of the box. The environment can be humid and condensation need not enter the box.
    6. The side with the cooling holes in it, is facing upwards and this side is screwed to the housing in which the CamBox is mounted.

    Hi Guys,
I received some incredibly good entries on my contest. However, some of you did not read the requirements that well.
Therefore, it seems I did not do a particularly good job in explaining the elements I would like to see in this contest. And for this reason, I will add some clarification.

    Hi all,

Please note the entry of Boris. He did a nice job for the first try.
However, kindly read the explanation and come up with a bit more detail. Check the attached file and links to the products that need to be incorporated.

      Hi Vinicius,
      No it's actually a rectangular box 80X50X25.
      Thanks for considering!

Hi Dear. Do you have any sketch for better orientation?

I started the project but I have some doubts about short sides, long sides.
