Hi and thank you for your interest.

I would like a logo creating for "Caledonian Holotropic" based in Scotland UK

The sub line is "Adventures in expanded states of consciousness".

Holotropic Breathwork is a self-empowering technology that can enable access to Expanded States of Consciousness for learning, healing and creating.

Holotropic Breathwork was developed by Czech-born psychiatrist Dr. Stanislav Grof & his wife Christina as a substance-free successor to his LSD based research and Psychedelic therapy.

It has 3 key components:

Breathing

Music

Focussed Energy Release Bodywork

Holotropic Breathwork is used to access ideas and inspiration from the transpersonal realm to improve an individual’s way of being in the world for not only the wounded but for the artist or scientist or student or inventor. The dreamlike images that can be presented in expanded states of consciousness often contain solutions to questions on our minds.

So the logo will hopefully reflect some of the above.

It will have a balance of masculine and feminine.

I would like to see examples of a bright or muted colour pallette.

I have attached a copy of the logo I am already using and if possible would like to incorporate the figure as it will provide a link to a retreat centre that I run (ie will provide a familiar theme)

I would like to incorporate an indication of Scotland.

Also, just to add that "Holotropic" can be translated as "Moving towards Wholeness". As we go through life and our conditioning as children we split off parts of ourselves through fear, guilt, sadness, terror, shame and anger - with Holotropic Breath is about reclaiming those "lost" parts, gathering them in and becoming more whole.

"Caledonian" - refers to anything that comes from Scotland

      Maria, this design as the basis for the final version. The logo for the client will be refined and will be 100% original. I did not steal this logo, I took it as a basis for further work. This is an open competition and now the rest of the designers will at least understand where to go. Do not worry.

      Well Pavlo, as I said, all of us could have taken someone's design and say we will redesign it later. You know what I mean? It is a copy and every designer will tell You that. When You submit your design, You submit it already redesigned. You You didn't even try to change the color. This is so wrong on so many levels...
