  • Status: Closed
  • Prize: $500
  • Entries Received: 18

Contest Brief

· Start with a Lenticular Cloud colliding with the Northern Lights.
· Combine color, movement, shapes, layers and sound
· Create the image of nature colliding with immersive digital content.
· Conclude with a circular sphere that is digitally lit, looks interactive and with immersive graphics, sounds, and energy.

Yes, I know the last part is a little unusual. Please be creative. Think of a virtual planet forming from the Lenticular clouds. The video should be about 15-30 seconds long.

Interestingly, СН did not have the opportunity to get to freelance, or simply did not like any work.

Hi everyone. This really is a simple contest. Start with clouds, create lightning, the lightning strikes to form a sphere. That's really it. Please hi-quality graphics. It shouldn't be more that 15-30 seconds long at the longest.

Hi! I think I have a great idea of what you're looking for - I'll need up until the deadline to finish it though. #extended would help a ton but a basic draft will be done soon!

... And - 4 days later - alternatively, where it says in the brief "please be creative" it actually means "I couldn't be bothered, you figure it out" - and so, apparently, neither could we. Small world...

The good news is that CH seems to be open to any crazy suggestions. Bad news is that all effort might go to waste.

I'm interested in this, but I'm also at loss: what exactly do you mean by "digital immersive digital content"? You want something like Matrix, something like Tron, something like 80's retrowave landscapes, something with an 8-bits look and feel...?

I don't suppose there's any possibility of you - first - providing us with a storyboard of the sequence you propose, please because - currently - yourself using words to describe what is clearly a very complicated visual transformation only you know how it should look - not remotely adequate and we're unlikely to spend the time this will take guessing for you, assuming you actually want the project completed.

Contest holder, just my advice here. Please explain more in depth of what you are looking for. From what it sounds like, this is an EXTREMELY complex animation and will require hundreds of animator hours. In my opinion, I don't think you are going to get anything close to this on a contest. The rendering time alone on something like this would be days on a normal computer.

      electrolime is absolutely right.
Perhaps you can show as an example ( Youtube, Vimeo ) of something similar of what you are looking for.
