Contest Brief

Hi,

I need a "coastal area" of Australia.

I'm thinking that if you use the attached SHP file, and you have a GIS package, you can create a bunch of polygons around the border to distances of 1km, 2.5km, 5km and 10km.

I can then use the resulting polygon to intersect with our existing list of lat/long places to easily identify coastal locations.

Output required:
Australia-1km.kml
Australia-2.5km.kml
Australia-5km.kml
Australia-10km.kml

If you have a better solution that I can load into Google Maps, all good.

The Goal: A list of coastal locations, identified by their distance from the coast.

Thanks!
