Contest Brief

Fire Cam is a heat resistant helmet camera manufacturer for firefighters. We have been in business since 2006. Every 3 years we design a new product.

We are looking to develop a new style of Fire Helmet Camera. Attached is our OLD style which mounts to the side of the fire helmet. We are looking for a "square" shaped one (also attached, like a gopro) that will mount on the FRONT of the fire helmet.

There will be several revisions needed throughout to create the camera look of our needs. Please see attached photos for reference.

Remember this is a camera that will be "mounted on the front of the fire helmet", NOT on the side, which is our current style. It will need to be Black Anodized Aluminum like our current models and the words "Fire Cam" etched on the side or front somewhere.

    Dear Contest Holder,
    I've reviewed your requirements and I have a few questions:
    - Is the optical module (lens) your scope of responcibility?
    - Can you provide some layout or a model for the electronical components (PWB)?
    - What is the working temperature for the camera to withstand?
    - Do you need a render for a concept or a 3D for the contest entry?

    Having the above mentioned information will help me to develop the product.
