Contest Brief

Nutcracker is a school book publisher. We publish books for use by teachers and their students in Caribbean classrooms. Our books are promoted at training events (seminars, educational workshops, and conferences) at which teachers are present. A sample of the type of poster frame that will be used for display is included in the files.

This contest is to produce an eye-catching poster that showcases two of our books along with some advertising copy. The full-color design must have visual depth and the 'top line' advertising copy ("The most trusted resources for the CSEC English SBA") must be central to the design.

SPECIFICATIONS
- finished size is 22.125" W x 28.125" H with bleed
- must include (1) all copy, (2) both book covers, (3) scan me image in frame, (4) Nutcracker logo
- book #1 should be presented at actual size (8.5" x 11") however book #2 may be reduced from its 9" x 12" size by as much as 33%.

COPY
(1) The phrase "The most trusted resources for the CSEC English SBA."
(2) The words: complete, comprehensive, authoritative
(3) The phrase "Student Workbook" next to Book #1
(4) The phrase "Free* Teacher's Guide" next to Book #2
(5) The footnote in reduced size font at bottom of poster "* Conditions apply. Contact the local distributor for details".

Hi! What are the posters correct size? Because the title says 22 x 38 inch, but in the description you wrote this: finished size is 22.125" W x 28.125" H with bleed. So it is 22x38 or 22x28? Thank you.

I much prefer if the design is restricted to the main colours used on the book covers (red, black and gray).
