Web Design Brief – Hogan’s Irish Bar

I am looking for a website to be built for my family’s Irish bar – Hogan’s Irish Bar. Currently, there is a very primitive website which I designed myself on WordPress, the domain name is www.hogansirishbar.com. I would like to keep this domain name on the new website if possible.

To begin with, I am looking for a very clean and simple design concept for the website. For creative inspiration, please refer to this website page for a bar in Washington:

When designing this webpage you do not need to follow the layout of their page exactly but just keep in mind the simplicity of the websites appearance. I believe the Quinn’s webpage portrays the warmth of their bar and I want to create a similar feeling on our webpage. I have attached photographs from a recent photo-shoot at our bar to be used in the same way as Quinn’s pub uses in theirs. (SEE DROPBOX LINK)

More tips on design:
- Celtic but readable writing for the titles of pages could look good

I will attach our business logo to possibly give inspiration to create a fresh logo or incorporate the old one into the design. (SEE DROPBOX LINK)

Key Components and Functionalities
- Must be responsive and look equally clean on mobile
- Must have a Live Music & Events page which I can update myself
- Must have widgets to social media websites such as Facebook, Yelp and Tripadvisor. Yelp and Tripadvisor widgets must be prominent on the homepage.

We have live music every Friday and Saturday. The live music page needs to be able to detail the time and name of musician. Possibly a picture also.
I will provide text and content once I have chosen a design template.

I need someone who can help me make changes until the final design is perfect and to help with changes into the future. Need some SEO advice in the future also so let’s create a long term business relationship.

This is a working version of wordpress with all of the dynamic bits in place. responsive is oviously not tested throughout and is just an example of the submitted designs. This is not a premium theme and has been built from scratch as shows by the google pagespeed tests of 88/100 for desktop and 71/100 for mobile passing all user tests thats without the extra optimization. there is also 3 months free hosting with any build and basic seo setup with keyword research.
