Contest Brief

We need an illustration to use as wall art in a new Brewery and Distillery located in an old newspaper printing building from the 1920s. Availible wall space is roughly 12’ wide and 6’ high. Could use a little more or less space as appropriate.

Would like to capture the basic process of milling, mashing and fermenting grain into beer to the tap with a secondary flow to a pot/colum still then to bottle for spirits (whiskey, gin and rum). We would like to overall look to be reminiscent of printed wood carvings including caricatures of newsboys. Included in the uploaded files are similar examples from other breweries or distilleries, an image of our bottle, our still and our logo.

Please feel free to share ideas before spending time on them! May choose multiple entries to use for other printed materials as well. Thank you for considering the project!

    Unfortunately, the process of getting whiskey is not always the same, and it is not known for me...
    Do you have any sketch of this or link when I could find some schemes, drafts ?
    If not, do you require any named steps which must be placed on the wall ?

      2d is fine! We would prefer something that appears to have been printed on a large poster press or like a wood carving.
