SUMMARY : Moving Systems is a coaching program that teaches participants to move their bodies in an effort to reconnect with their inner feelings and thoughts. We gather students into an open classroom setting and we all literally walk, stretch, dance and move our bodies around the room. We watch and evaluate each other, offering our impressions of what may be going on internally.

DIRECTION: We need a logo for our new endeavor that has our name with preferably an icon. Currently we don’t have a strong idea in mind nor clear direction. Please note that we are NOT a house moving company. We are a coaching program that helps people move their bodies to reconnect with their inner-selves.

NAME: Our name is “Moving Systems.” We are open to the primary logo being incorporated as two words (Moving Systems) or as one word (MovingSystems.) We have a tagline “Extending Our Reach” but we would like this to be a secondary part that can work WITH the primary name (Moving Systems) and WITHOUT.

COLORS: We don’t have committed colors yet but please NO bright primary colors or red. We would like some deep, rich colors. We can see blues, purples, greens - but these don’t have to be the scheme nor the only colors. Gradations are OK.

ICON: Something that conveys moving, systems and/or reach (the idea is that by participating in this training, you will have a greater impact)

About Us
We offer coaching/leadership programs that ensure knowledge of the foundational coaching competencies for leaders (and coaches) focused on organizational systems. In addition, we incorporate kinesthetic awareness, movement and mindfulness based approaches, models and theories in all of the work we do. This integration of kinesthetic awareness, movement and mindfulness based approaches is what makes the work we do unique and it deepens the learning experience. Our experience doing this work with leaders, coaches and students has demonstrated that these practices are central to helping us, as coaches and leaders, to both broaden and deepen our awareness and attention. Our approach fosters a sharpened sense of how we use our mental models in everyday work life and expands what is available for observation, understanding and action.

Our Approach
- Our leadership coaching approach is a systemic one
- The issues/problems and opportunities you will coach people on in your organizations do not exist independently of the dynamics of the system

Our leadership/coaching approach assumes some very important values:
- Coaching is a way to establish partnership between leaders and workers
- Coaching is a way to impart values of human dignity and respect; it sets the standard for how people should communicate with one another
- We are leading and coaching from the whole person to the whole person (incorporating use of self: mind, body, spirit)

    DAY 01 // OK. We've been filtering through the first 250+ entries. Because of the number of entries, we have quickly rejected those that were too far off the mark. For those that still remain, we have replied to as many as practical that we had something to say or a clear direction for. Overall, here are some pointers:

    - Many submissions had a lot of masculine energy to them. We deal with a lot of women in our sessions. This is NOT a traditional "big" corporation but a one-on-one oriented kind of business. So please don't make the logo cold, big and strong. We want something with some feeling of intimacy.

    - The font working and styling is primary. An icon is secondary. Yes, we would prefer to have an icon but the font and styling thereof is MORE important. The icon is secondary.

    - Many entries with an icon had the overused icon people that I've seen a thousand times. We'd like something more unique.
