Contest Brief

I have a consulting business called Metric Consulting. We specialise in Business Modelling (Financial Modelling) and Data Analysis. We focus on using a business' financial information and turning it into meaningful data/metrics that can be used for strategic decision making in the present and future. I am looking for a logo that can be used across email signatures, business cards, website, stationery, etc so would need the appropriate sized files for various uses. I like clean, minimalist logos but wouldn't mind something that plays on numbers and MCsquared without using MCsquared directly. We deal with numbers everyday so our business is 'nerdy' but I don't want the logo to look like the typical accounting and business services firm. I'm open to colours but not colourful, so one colour/shade (avoid yellow).
